The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of character education in terms of the way of life creating difference, beyond the dichotomy of right/wrong and knowledge/behavior. Specifically, the present study tried to look at the case of character education through the narrative of teachers from the Deleuzian concept of becoming. To this end, four teachers with experience in character education were selected as participants in the study and their comments were recorded from October to December 2017. At the same time, researchers looked at their narrative about how character education is seen as a creation of difference in their teaching experience. As a result, teachers showed confusion as they practiced character education, willingness to overcome the limitations of a fixed framework, and creation of his or her own character education. The implications of this study are as follows. First, character education needs to be viewed as a process of making a difference in contextual way of life through the interconnection of life as a whole, rather than as a fixed standard of understanding or a consultation point judgment as right or wrong. Second, in order to create a difference towards the possibility, teachers should be given room to practice their own character education through thinking in context. Third, children also should be given room for space so that they can view their lives in a positive way, explore and create the world, that is, each one can move toward characterization and growth in character education.
