초록

The purpose of this study is to deeply explore and understand the experience of living and constructing as a one-person enterprise through the narrative inquiry of a one-person enterprise with a protean career attitude. On the instability of the employment market is increasing, it is important that the protean career(Hall, 2002; Hall, 2004), which is an attitude of individuals who develop their career based on self-initiative and values as they demand more responsibility and preparation. It is a very adventurous and challenging decision to choose career paths as a one person enterprise in the domestic socio-cultural context, so it is necessary to pay attention to the reasons and process of their career choice. The meaning of work experience of a one-person enterprise with a protean career attitude that was understood through the stories of the lives of research participant were categorized into five topics: <Reason for Rebellion>, <Rebel>, <Ariadne's string>, <Standing alone>, <The Path to the Heart>. Based on the results of the study, the discussion and follow - up study in the field of career counseling were presented.
