This study was aimed to develop operational framework for a district Healthy Family Support Center with it's roles and organization. For this study, not only a survey was conducted with 225 professionals bust also a depth interview was accomplished to 13 professionals, who are related to Healthy Family Support Center in nationwide. Results were as followed: First, professionals showed strong needs for a district Healthy Family Support Center in order to give systematic good quality of family services to people. Moreover, professionals assisted that a district Healthy Family Support Center should be organized prior to county Healthy Family Support Centers. The horizontal rather than vertical relationship between a district Healthy Family Support Center and county Healthy Family Support Centers was preferred by professionals. In other words, most professionals preferred to the democratic relationship rather than a district Healthy Family Support Center is controlled in county Healthy Family Support Centers. In regard to it's roles, professionals showed strong needs that a district Healthy Family Support Center plays its such roles as a supportive role for firing up county Healthy Family Support Centers and a publicity work role. For a district Healthy Family Support Center's origination, professionals in general preferred to settings with the head director- the director-the chief staff - staffs-the administrate personal. With respect to the operational support systems for a district Healthy Family Support Center, most professionals insisted that a research team and program team as well as a consulting committee and operational committee were strongly needed. Results from this study might be contributed to operate a district Healthy Family Support Center in the near future.
