This study attempted to figure out differences between job stress stemming of emotional labor and turnover intention against cosmetic sales representatives who appear to be highly stressed at work. The results are as follows: 65.2% were suffering from a high degree of emotional stress, and 49.2% had turnover experience. ‘30 or older women were higher than men in terms of both job stress and turnover intention. Turnover intention was higher as the work period increased. Most respondents were suffering from job stress because of emotional labor regardless of their educational background and monthly income. As subjective health conditions were more serious, the level of extrinsic behavior was higher, and both job stress and turnover intention increased. Full-time workers were greater than interns. According to analysis on differences between job stress stemming from emotional labor and turnover intention, extrinsic behavior had a positive effect on job stress, which confirmed that as the level of extrinsic behavior got higher, job stress increased as well. In terms of turnover intention as well, extrinsic behavior had a positive effect on turnover intentio), confirming that as the level of extrinsic behavior got higher, turnover intention also increased. According to analysis on differences between job stress and turnover intention, cosmetic sales representatives’ job stress had a positive effect on turnover intention.
