This study analyzes the effects of using the multicultural family support centers on the bicultural identity of multicultural youths. For this purpose, regression and propensity score matching analyses are attempted to examine the effects using the 2015 national multicultural survey. The results of regression analyses show that the experience of using multicultural family support centers is positive for forming a bicultural identity. For women, younger age, no Korean nationality, more foreign life experience, higher self-esteem, and more social discrimination experience, the formation of bicultural identity is found to be high. Similar to the results of regression, the results of propensity score matching indicate that multicultural adolescents experienced with multicultural family support centers have positive bicultural identities compared to adolescents without such experiences. The results indicate that the use of multicultural family support centers positively influences the formation of bicultural identities among multicultural adolescents. These results are consistent in regression and propensity score matching. However, it is worth noting that the regression coefficients for the use of multicultural family support centers among those with a bicultural identity differ between regression and propensity score matching. Based on the results, this study suggests theoretical and policy implications for the formation of a positive bicultural identity for multicultural youths.
