초록
This study aims at studying that allegory which is shown in contemporary art is important concept in reading meanings in contemporary floral artworks which is shown diverse experimental trial. For this purpose, this study is based upon allegorical cognition of Walter Benjamin and the allegorical method of Craig Owens. I analyzed floral artworks by three application elements of imagery appropriation, site-specificity and hybridization. Furthermore, I propose that allegory can be new method of expression in contemporary floral art and design.
