Korea's domestic nail business has been rapidly & gradually grown and become popular since domestic nail industry had been introduced in the late 90s. The demand & supply of nail artists is imbalanced by quantitative growth of nail shops, it makes nail artists gave more choices at work and they can easily move to another nail salons. Almost every owners of nail shops are actually facing & having a insufficient management and nail artists are usually in poor working conditions and environment compared to other industries. There is the gap between job satisfaction and expected value in this work field and it is a very important factor to determine change of occupation.In this research study, it is firstly investigated on general characteristic of nail artists and the working condition & environment analysis, evaluate the reasons of job satisfaction and change of occupation. As the results of the above research study, it should be developed & improved necessarily the nail artists' work environments such as nail skills doing by education and welfare, working conditions, and better compensation for job satisfaction in order to make delightfully a long-term working in each of their present nail shops. It relatively makes them prevent their job turnover in shot-term period and seems effecting to profitable & growth of nail shop management, and also it needs to enhance the nail artists's self-esteem & pride up and a national public nail licence exactly shall be required as soon as possible for specially owner of nail shops being calmly & safely nail shop management. In addition, it should be shifted from poor & small business level of nail shop away to rational business system prepared. I am expecting the research to be evolved continuously for development of nail industry, keeping human resource development learning by doing consecutively, and also driving customization & customers' satisfaction.
