The purpose of this study was to compare the differences in behavioral problems and psychosocial adaptation based on the level of the K-CBCL 6-18 DP of ODD and CD from child and adolescents in child foster care. The participants were 24 children and adolescents diagnosed with ODD, and 55 children and adolescents diagnosed with CD. K-CBCL 6-18, SES, social support scale, social competency scale, happiness scale, school satisfaction scale, and problem-solving coping ability scale were used for this study. The results of this study were as follows. First, the positive correlations between CBCL-DP and Syndrome Scales, DSM-Oriented Scales, Problem Behavior Special Scales were significant. Second, the negative correlations with CBCL-DP and self-esteem, social support, happiness, and school satisfaction were significant. Second, the DP group had significantly higher scores on Syndrome Scales, DSM-Oriented Scales, Problem Behavior Special Scales than the Non-DP group. Third, the DP group had significantly lower scores on Sociality, self-esteem, social support, happiness, and school satisfaction than the Non-DP group. In conclusion, this study confirms that behavioral problems and psychosocial adaptation differ according to CBCL-DP level.
