This study proposes an integrated operation model that precisely analyzes the visitor behavior of museums and art galleries and maximizes operational efficiency by comprehensively utilizing various cutting-edge digital technologies such as IoT sensors, beacons, NFC tags, and intelligent CCTVs. Existing technology introduction cases have revealed technical limitations due to data fragmentation and lack of interoperability, which have limited the impact on operational efficiency and visitor experience improvement. To solve this, this study proposes a new integrated model consisting of a data collection layer, a data processing layer, and an output layer. The data collection layer collects real-time data through IoT, beacons, NFC, and intelligent CCTVs, and the processing layer processes data using a cloud-based integrated database and AI/ML analysis tools. The output layer realizes operational goals such as customized visitor services, exhibition environment optimization, and energy efficiency. The study examines the practical applicability of the model by analyzing global success cases and presents specific implementation plans, which are expected to contribute to promoting the digital transformation of cultural and artistic institutions and establishing a sustainable operation system.
