This study focuses on developing educational methods for floral design as a form of children"s art education. Specifically, it aims to develop floral design education methods that enhance intuitive, emotional, and sensory abilities, which are often lacking in general education focusing on cognitive ability. By fostering creativity through diverse floral design creations, this study seeks to stimulate and nurture creative thinking. Methodologically, the study employs the Reggio Emilia approach, an integrated, child-centered curriculum implemented in public kindergartens and early childhood centers in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Using the documentation from the "Opera Stage: Transformation Rings Project" as a case study, behavioral scene analysis as a qualitative research methodology was conducted to develop a descriptive document. This document was then constructed as a systematic way using grounded theory methodology of another methodology of qualitative research. As a result of the research, 4 top concepts of‘experience’, ‘promotion of execution’, ‘contents of execution’, ‘socialization’were derived, and 14 upper concepts, 43 middle concepts, 34 lower concepts, and 89 bottom concepts as a form of descriptive sentence were also derived and presented as the guidelines for idea derivation to apply to eduational program development for floral art and design. These guidelines are practical guidelines to apply Reggio Approach to floral art and design education which show new direction to floral art and design education copying to contemporary educational needs of developing creative ability by applying educational techniques promoting creative thinking and emotional expression developed through Reggio Approach.
