초록

This article aimed to concretely introduce the Ahyeon lending book Jeonunchi-jeon held in Kyoto Univ. in Japan, and to establish a relationship between versions and relative characteristics of individual differences through comparison with the 6-coin novel Jeonuchi-jeon published by Sinmunkwan and Gyeonpan 37-leaf Seoul version Jeonunchi-jeon etc. Based on such result, We can understand the composition and meaning of the whole Jeonuchi-jeon versions. In the meantime, Ahyeon lending library book Jeonunchi-jeon was introduced only as a list. But by this article, lending library book Jeonunchi-jeon’s specific sentences were confirmed. Based on the above results, it was newly confirmed that the 6-coin novel Jeonuchi- jeon published by Sinmunkwan was formed by the lending book Jeonunchi-jeon rather than Gyeongpan 37-leaf Seoul version Jeonunchi-jeon. And we could clearly see the direction of adaptation Choi Namseon intended. Finally, through the above discussion, we can advance the general thesis on Ahyeon lending library and 6-coin novel published by Sinmunkwan. We need to have a deeper discussion on the relationship among the three parties, lending library book, Gyeongpan (commercial woodblock print in Seoul) book and typical book. These three type of book is an important commercial publications in Joseon Dynasty period.
