The goal of this study was to determine the existing state of vocational education and training division roles and functions in employment and welfare plus centers, as well as to speculate on future implications. The survey was done, and 141 staff responded to the survey items. The results were examined in terms of present conditions, perceptional status concerning other divisions, and organizational performance of the vocational education and training division. We also looked into the needs of employees in terms of competency development. As a result, personnel in the VET division view their status and roles to be similar to those of employees in all the other divisions. They also encountered challenges in training counseling and administrative duties. They did, however, list the significance of such works: instruction and supervision. In future, employment and welfare plus center should be encouraged to set up VET information for job seeking and personnel hiring. Also, employment and welfare plus center needs to participate in evaluating and monitoring the programs of VET institutions.
