초록

The Treaty on European Union (TEU) requires the EU to go after the goal of a highly competitive social market economy as an economic order. This paper attempts to analyze a comprehensive analysis of the development process and the institutionalization of a social market economy in the EU and also to analyze in the process, what efforts the EU has made to achieve freedom, human dignity and social justice and to strengthen social rights through economic and social progress through a social market economy system. To this end, this paper discusses the theory and practice of the EU social market economy and provides an overview of the development and institutionalization process of a social market economy in the EU. It also examines the EU social market economy, based on the link between economic efficiency and social justice into the economic order through the link with social Europe and compares the process of European integration. This paper try to examine the future mechanisms and dynamics of social Europe and to find out whether the EU social market economy can become a new possibility in the future of social Europe.
