This study visualizes the knowledge structure and evolution of digital media and dance design based on 542 ar ticles (2005–2025) from Web of Science using CiteSpace 6.4. Results show rapid growth after 2020, with research focusing on social media, VR, and AI in dance communication, interaction, and immersion. The field demonstrates strong interdisciplinary features, evolving from media-based studies to embodied cognition and theoretical con struction, forming a path of "interactive media–technical tools–theoretical support.
