细菌纤维素(BC)与柑橘(citrus junos和citrus unshiu)皮交联,生产出一种具有增强机械强度和阻燃性的彩色多功能皮革替代品. 表面表征证实了柑橘皮和BC之间的成功交联. 柑橘皮交联BC的拉伸强度和断裂伸长率分别是牛皮的1.9-2.1倍和2.5-2.8倍. 阻燃性分析证实,柑橘皮交联的BC在燃烧过程中形成了致密、多孔的炭层,并保留了比原始BC高10.9-11.8倍的最终残留质量. 此外,柑橘皮赋予了BC棕色,具有良好的牢度等级5和4. 因此,本研究表明,柑橘废弃物可以可持续地回收利用,以提高BC的机械强度和阻燃性,同时赋予颜色.
