This study analyzed research trends regarding the multicultural education of university students in Korea for 2010-2019. For this, a total of 49 papers were examined; the results are as follows. First, research on university students' multicultural education shows a year-on-year increase or decrease. The volume was largest in 2016, and has declined substantially since then. Second, studies on education have been published mostly in journals dealing with multiculturalism. Third, The main topic of interest in research is the type of testing and development of educational programs. Forth, the object of education is more important in the attempt to target students majoring in general subject as well as students majoring in education. Fifth, contents related to knowledge were most frequently handled in education. Finally, The approach taken was mainly identifiable with assimilative and multicultural viewpoints. Based on these results, we discussed the future direction of multicultural education for Korean university students.
