대입전형 간소화 정책 전후 사교육 영향력 비교 분석

초록

Efforts to reduce effects of private tutoring in educational policy is getting more significant in terms of reduction of student’s educational gap. The purpose of the study is to explore differences of private tutoring cost and private tutoring dependence after introducing College Admission Simplification Policy in Park Administration. College Admission Simplification Policy is implemented in order to reduce private tutoring influences in college admission because critics on College Admission Deregulation Policy under Lee Administration are about enlargement of private tutoring market. With this background, this study focuses on differences of high school students' private tutoring cost and perception on private tutoring. The data is collected from 2012 to 2016 academic year considering college characteristics. The research results show that total private tutoring costs during high school and dependence on private tutoring are both enlarged even after College Admission Simplification Policy. This shows that College Admission Simplification Policy is not successful at least in terms of effects of private tutoring.
