초록
The purpose of this study is to provide the baseline information for the role-developing and growth of community-education activists (CEAs) as key actors in building the community education through its collaboration between the community and a school. This study analyzed the effect of social capital on the problem-solving inventory of community-education activists and on the collective efficacy of the community. This study analyzed the data of 209 cases collected in the 3 Education Innovation Districts (EIDs) from the cities of Seoul and Incheon. Results show that the social capital of CEAs positively affects the problem-solving inventory of community-education activists and the collective efficacy of the community. Communes play very important roles in improving CEAs’ practice and ability, and their high problem-solving inventory and collective efficacy help them positioning as experts in community education fields. This study suggests that the social capital of CEAs should be further strengthened through increased collaboration between the community and a school and by higher problem-solving inventory and collective efficacy.
