국내외 의료정보학 연구 주제 구조 비교 분석

초록

This study employed text mining techniques to compare the thematic structures and research trends of domestic and international medical informatics research. While previous studies have mainly focused on specific journals or limited research areas, comparative analyses integrating domestic and international research remain insufficient. To address this gap, English abstracts of medical informatics-related articles published between 2000 and 2024 were collected and analyzed. A total of 1,047 domestic and 11,454 international articles were examined using frequency analysis, TF-IDF analysis, N-gram network analysis, and LDA-based topic modeling. The results showed that both domestic and international studies commonly focused on healthcare service improvement, system development, and performance evaluation. However, differences were observed in the structural relationships among research topics related to data. In international research, machine learning-related studies demonstrated relatively strong connections to various subtopics such as algorithms and decision-making. These findings suggest that global medical informatics research is expanding toward AI- and data-driven clinical applications, highlighting the need for broader data-driven interdisciplinary research in domestic medical informatics.
