The floral art and design which represents man's inner formative world through nature as a medium, came to meet, in modern times, diversified demands due to development of perception. Each genre of culture at large is going to be mixed and combined, and so is it with floral art and design. Apart from incidental conceptions and rash following, I have combined floral art and design with kineticism that has artistic significance of innovative creative activities denying the fixed notion, as part of extended creative activities based on systematic and theoretical foundation. "Moving Art" is a tendency of art which is called "Kinetic Art" or "Cinetisme". They have been used to designate the art that searched for formative art, "the moving". In this study, I looked into definition, background, and artistic distinctions of Kineticism, tried to build a theory of floral art and design based on that theory and to compare and analyze works of art of floral art and design home and abroad. Through delving into the extensive thoughts on the possibilities of kinetic expression and materials, I present diversified and experimental thoughts that modern times require, in order to extend the area of research of artists, and I expect to develop creative world of art for formation, along with establishing concept of works in floral art and design.
