초록
(Background and Purpose)Heatwaves have emerged as a critical urban risk due to climate change and urban heat island effects. Existing infrastructure-based responses are limited in addressing real-time heat exposure during movement, while personal cooling devices lack integration with urban data systems. This study proposes an AI–Human Collaboration Framework (AHCF) and examines its applicability through the conceptual design of an urban heatwave response wearable. (Method)This study adopts a methodology-driven conceptual design approach based on AHCF, structured into context analysis, generative exploration, and evaluation and refinement. Generative AI was used to derive problem structures and design alternatives, while human designers interpreted and refined the results. The process was recorded as traceable design data, and expert review was conducted to assess applicability. (Results)AHCF operated as a collaborative design method integrating AI-driven exploration with human-centered decision-making. H-Link was conceptualized as a neckband wearable integrating cooling, sensing, and data linkage. The system was structured as a sensing–judgment–response–accumulation–update cycle, connecting individual protection with urban data systems. (Conclusions)AHCF functions as a structured collaboration methodology enabling traceable and reproducible design processes. The proposed H-Link suggests a new urban design approach that integrates personal protection with city-scale data systems. Future research should extend validation through prototyping and real-world application.
