In order to successfully settle and develop the Child Allowance that was introduced rapidly, this study examined how the recipients perceive the Child Allowance through the Q methodology. Therefore, this study conducted Q-sorting by collecting 40 P samples and 25 statements from the P sample for Child Allowance, and analyzed the data through the QUANL-PC program. As a result of this study, three types of perception of Child Allowance were found. Type 1 was ‘cash-satisfying’ and type 2 was ‘substantial service demand’. Type 3 was ‘financial financing.’. It was found that there was a difference in position regarding the expansion of the system, the increase in benefits, and the effect of the system. Therefore, when reorganizing the Child Allowance, it is necessary to continuously conduct various discussions on the expansion of the period and the increase in salary, reflecting the needs of policy recipients. In addition, full-scale social discussion is also required for financing. This study will be the basic data for the successful establishment and operation of the child allowance system introduced to promote the basic rights and welfare of child.
