초록
The purpose of this study is to examine differences in participation levels in general physical education classes based on university students’ MBTI personality types. To achieve this, data were collected from 217 university students(102 males, 115 females) enrolled in general physical education classes, and the data were analyzed using the SPSS program. A one-way ANOVA was conducted to examine differences, with MBTI personality types(function, temperament) as the independent variables and class interest, which measures participation levels, as the dependent variable. First, there was a significant difference in participation levels in general physical education classes based on students’ MBTI functional types. Second, there was a significant difference in participation levels in general physical education classes based on students’ MBTI temperament types. Based on these findings, this study provides insights into understanding university students’ participation levels in general physical education classes according to their MBTI personality types. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of developing strategies to enhance students’ engagement and satisfaction in physical education courses.
