초록
The main purpose of this study is to investigate the learning effects on listening comprehension by dictation practice. For this purpose, three hypotheses are set up under the assumption that there will be a difference in the result of listening comprehension through dictation practice. Hypothesis 1: Depending upon the dictation practise, there will be a difference in the improved scores of listening comprehension. Hypothesis 2: Depending upon the method of dictation practice, there will be a difference in improved scores of listening comprehension. Hypothesis 3: Depending upon the students’s listening comprehension ability level, there will be a difference in their improved listening comprehension test scores through dictation practice. The experiment has been conducted for two months over 60 Chinese students as subjects. The students are divided into three groups (two experimental and one controlled) During the period, two pre-and post-tests were administered to verify the hypothesis. The results are as follows:1) The two experimental groups (B and C groups) surpassed the controlled groups(A groups) in their listening comprehension test scores. 2) C groups which practiced phrase and sentence dictation surpassed the B groups which practiced word dictation in their listening comprehension test scores. 3) The upper and middle group students in C groups showed difference in their listening comprehension test scores with the lower group students.
