The purpose of this research was to examine the publicity of lifelong education based on the Delivery Lecture System (DLS) in Daejun, a part of lifelong education policy. To achieve this purpose, this study reviewed theories and discourse about publicity and publicity in the education field. The concept of publicity generally includes three meanings such as 1) people 2) public good 3) openness. Also, based on discourse on the educational publicity, this study pointed out that publicity in lifelong education has multi-dimensional characteristics such as the subject of practice, the degree of openness and accessability, and the aim of society. As the result, this study found that participants satisfied with DLS because of easy access systems and programs that met educational needs. Based on this result, this study proposes ways to improve and enhance the publicity of lifelong education through DLS. First, DLS should provide and guarantee the participation of the private sector in the decision making process about DLS. Second, DLS should consider the range of beneficiaries. Finally, DLS should make an effort to contribute to the development of local community in the future.
