This study aims to verify the effect of the adventure-based counseling program based on the theory of Alfred Adler on the improvement of the community spirit of upper elementary school students. The subjects of the study were divided into an experimental and control group, which consisted of 10 students in 4-5th grade at J elementary school in Seoul, respectively. SPSS 26.0 program was used to analyze collected data through the analysis of covariates. The results are as follows: first, the social interest of the experiment group, which was applied with the counseling program, was significantly improved, and second, the peer relationship of the experimental group was significantly advanced. It is meaningful that the study proved the counseling program to be useful in schools and counseling institutions as a prevention and treatment program for children’s collective counseling.
