초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest cultural vocabulary list for married female immigrants and it is build focused on congratulations and condolences words. It focused on words that is currently used among suggested headwords from Dictionary of Korean Rite of Passage, and detail vocabulary list is build based on ‘birth rites’, ‘wedding rites’, ‘funeral rites’. In addition, the congratulations and condolences vocabulary list is completed by adding words from Korean textbooks that married female immigrants are using. It is considered that this congratulations and condolences vocabulary list could be helpful to the realm of Korean Language education and married female immigrants to understand the target language and culture and express suitable words for congratulations and condolences situation. The follow-up study conducts to organize the congratulations and condolences vocabulary list which is build in this study by the learning stages and suggest learning activity based on this stage.
