A Study on the Creative Transformation of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Dance Drama <Only Blue and Green>

초록

This study examines the dance drama Only Blue and Green, adapted from the Northern Song painting A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains, to explore the creative transformation of intangible cultural heritage in contemporary dance. Using work analysis and literature research methods, the study analyzes how traditional cultural elements and aesthetic characteristics are transformed into stage performance through choreography, visual imagery, and scenographic composition. The findings are as follows. First, the work reconstructs intangible cultural heritage elements through the processes of symbolic transformation, narrative reconfiguration, and visual embodiment, thereby converting traditional craft culture into contemporary stage language. Second, the visual aesthetics of the original painting are dynamically expressed through bodily movement, stage space, costume design, and multimedia imagery, allowing traditional artistic spirit to be transformed into an emotional and immersive theatrical experience.
