As discussed in this article, 'Warm Family' in Hoo-Rahn Kim's poems is based on willingness for life and dedication. Thus, it presents calm description of positive recognition of reality that exerts life force. Then, this sentiment is rooted all in love, life and peace. Although Hoo-Rahn Kim is a female poet, she seems to be free from cognition for 'female' She does not seem to express absurd suppression of feminity or question the identity structured by the society. However, her poems do not only present reality-adapting attitude either. Even though her feministic sense is not explicit in her poems, her humanism such as love, peace and affection/compassion for human provide a base for cognition of positive motherhood. Her sentiment of motherhood that embraces rather than confronts will function as a positive possibility, which is an alternative to feminism. If a good poem is written under concrete reality and living language experience, her poems may be more fundamental even though her poems may be personal and abstract, and may lack historicity or sociality. A poem is not about tears but about the end of tears or after, and love is about mutual accomplishment or ascendance. Hoo-Rahn Kim describes such love in her poem through ever lasting self-reflection on existence in positive and healthy way.
