초록

This study analyzed research trends in career development and career education for immigrant youth who arrived during their adolescence, aiming to identify future research directions. A content analysis was conducted on 39 academic articles examining publication years, methodologies, populations, and themes. The results showed an increasing trend in research volume, with qualitative methods predominating over quantitative and mixed approaches. The analysis of study populations revealed a predominance of participants from China, Vietnam, and Russia. The research themes predominantly centered on career ex- periences and processes. Based on these findings, this study recommends future research directions, including examining career experiences by specific immigration characteristics of youth, expanding research to non-metropolitan areas, studying career transitions across settlement stages and life cycles, and investigating broader social relationships as career support systems.
