Recently, studies on predicting the price of agricultural products are attracting attention. If the price of agricultural products is accurately predicted, it is possible to control the supply, which leads to an increase in profits. Various factors may influence the formation of future agricultural product prices, such as weather, weight. The main limitation of existing research is that they did not sufficiently investigate the relationship between weather and product price. Therefore, this paper analyzes the correlation between unit price and weather in various aspects based on ten years of real agricultural product sales dataset. To this end, we first derived a correlation between weather and top-ranked agricultural product. We also conducted a trend analysis experiment on the correlation between product price and weather according to the change in the growth cycle of agricultural products. Experiment results reveal that we could identify the growth cycles that significantly affect the product price. In addition, we propose a method to select a meteorological factor highly correlated to the product price, considering the relationship between product price and weather. Finally, we verified the effectiveness of the proposed methodology by conducting experiments on predicting agricultural product prices.
