초록
The study aimed to examine the transition process of the water and sanitation system after 2000 through the daily lives of North Koreans based on Socio-technical System Approach, Literature analysis and interviews with North Korean defectors show that North Koreans are driving the system transition as subjects despite the inertia of meso level around 2010. They are firmly building a socio-technical foundation through learning and networking activities. Learning areas are organized around drinking water pollution and nature of water as good. And networks are formed through various technology practices through markets. In the process, the hybrid of science (professional) and technology (non-professional), formula-informal, and social-technical have added momentum to the transition by strengthening individual subjectivity and social forces.
