This study aims to propose a data-driven intelligent integrated management model (i-CAM) for large-scale national museums, designed to manage the entire lifecycle of collections-including storage, exhibition, movement, and loans-in an integrated manner. Although digital transformation in Korean museums has advanced primarily in visitor-centered services, the level of integration between collection management and facility operation data remains limited. Structural constraints such as data silos and collection silos continue to hinder comprehensive and strategic management of collections. Through a literature review and comparative analysis of leading international museum cases, this study establishes an analytical framework based on data integration level, technological maturity, and organizational governance structure. Based on these findings, the i-CAM model is designed around a collection ID-centered data schema and a four-layer architecture, accompanied by a phased implementation roadmap progressing from monitoring and data integration to predictive analytics, automated control, and digital twin-based autonomous operation. This research contributes theoretically by articulating a domain-specific integrated management framework tailored to cultural assets, distinguishing it from conventional smart building models. Future research should focus on empirical validation of the model through pilot implementation.
