The purpose of this study is to reflect on the meaning of ‘self-care’ experienced by infant teachers and to examine the importance of being healed for life through ‘self-care’ give thoughtful consideration when caring for others. Based on these research objectives, five home daycare teachers, including researcher, collected data through a total of seven collective interviews for an average of 117 minutes per time from January 2020 to February 2020. The collected data were analyzed using Giorgi’s phenomenological research method. The meaningful units derived from the data considering the ‘self-care’ experience of infant teachers consisted of the four higher categories and each of the subcategories. In addition, they perceived themselves as those who only care for others, but they felt that self-care was carried out in various forms in the research process. Through this, infant teachers could recognize that care for ‘me’ was directed toward to others and teachers’ warm care for infants who are being away from their parents led the creation of each other’s lives as beautiful works of art.
