The analysis process led to discovering 75 meaning units, which were then clustered into 16 theme, and six essences were derived. The results showed that during the therapy, unfamiliarity led to excited expectation; subjects’ sense of capability was regained through free artistic expression; subjects became more proactive; subjects experienced new modes of communication and trust subjects felt freedom due to not being limited by temporal or spatial isolation; and subjects felt a sense of pride looking back at the turning points in their lives.
