초록
This study examined the psycho-emotional effects of a 10-session integrated arts program (‘Banjjak-Flash Project’) via arts-culture-medical institutional collaboration on 26 caregivers from 19 families of individuals with developmental disabilities, using a mixed-methods approach. Pre/post changes were measured via the STAI, GSE, and PSS; qualitative interviews were analyzed using Thematic Analysis. Results showed significant reductions in anxiety (STAI: t=4.29, p<.001, g=.81) and perceived stress (PSS: t=2.12, p=.04, g=.40), and improved self-efficacy (GSE: t=-2.52, p=.01, g=.48). Four themes emerged — ‘Unveiling the Sealed Self’, ‘Art Touching the Heart’, ‘Realizing We Are Not Alone’, and ‘Reframing Life’ — reflecting self-awareness → emotional acceptance → relational recovery → worldview reconstruction. Caregivers’ emotional recovery proved a key driver of family system change, supporting multi-institutional integrated arts as a new paradigm for caregiver support. Limitations include small sample size and no control group; larger controlled studies are needed.
