초록

The purpose of this study is to develop and verify the validity of couple's argument scale based on Enneagram personality type. The data is used to help couples achieve better marital relationships and family health by understanding couple's arguments based on Enneagram personality type. A literature review and an Enneagram workshop were conducted to extract the characteristics of couples' quarrels by Enneagram personality type, and the final 90 questions were selected through expert review, consultation, and content validity. The verification of the selected items carried out an accredited validity process through correlation with the Vision Enneagram type indicator. The item analysis by correlation of all items showed that there was a significant positive correlation for each type. There was a significant positive correlation between .472 and .59 (p<.001) for each central energy. The couple's argument scale based on the Enneagram personality type in this study is meaningful in that it is possible to prevent couple’s arguments and to promote marital health by allowing couples to understand themselves and others through the process of finding out the causes of conflicts and fights between couples based on personality characteristics.
