dc.description.abstract | The magnetic properties of CoSiB/Pd multilayers were prepared by a DC sputtering system have been investigated using a vibrating sample magnetometer. We investigated the magnetic properties of CoSiB/Pd multilayers for various CoSiB thicknesses in a previous article. Based on those data, the CoSiB thickness was kept constant at 7 angstrom while the Pd thickness was varied from 11 to 24 angstrom. The largest value of the coercivity obtained as similar to 237 Oe for t(Pd) = 13 angstrom, and the smallest value of the saturation magnetization obtained was similar to 594 emu/cc for t(Pd) = 24 angstrom. With increasing Pd thickness, the coercivity increased and the saturation magnetization decreased. When t(Pd) = 24 angstrom, the hysteresis loop showed a step-shape. | - |
