Abstract

The objectives of this study is to investigate the effects of 12-week aerobic exercise program on the body composition, concentration of adiponectin, insulin and leptin hormones in serum for menopausal women with long-term HRT and menopausal women without HRT and to suggest aerobic exercise to prevent obesity, metabolic syndrome, and cardiovascular disease and to minimize side effects from menopause.The results from the investigation of the effects of 12-week aerobic exercise on the body composition, concentration of adiponectin, insulin, and leptin for menopausal women with HRT(n=7) and without HRT(n=7) are as follows.
