dc.description.abstract | 일반적으로 젠더는 인간의 정체성을 나타내는 자연적 지표로 선천적이고 보편적인 인간의 몸을 나타낸다. 들뢰즈(Deleuze)와 버틀러(Butler)의 경우 젠더의 정체성을 생물학적 숙명이 아닌 몸의 욕망과 관련하여 재구성될 수 있는 관계적 효과로 보고 있다. 다시 말해 몸은 수행적 결과에 따라 육체의 보편성을 변용시키고 확장시켜 사회적 규범과 자연을 능가하는 저항의 공간을 가진다는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고정된 성, 변하지 않는 몸이 아닌 관계성에 의해 스스로 차이를 생성하는 몸의 구성 능력에 관해 논하고자 하였으며 이는 들뢰즈의 ‘무엇되기’(becoming something) 개념과 버틀러의 ‘수행성’(Performativity)을 통해 새롭게 접근되었다. 이 같은 측면에서 본 연구에서는 문화적, 윤리적 가치성이 각인된 일반적인 몸이 아닌 배제된 몸들이 가지는 잠재적 가능성을 무용의 영역에서 탐색해 보고자 하였다. 이러한 논의를 근간으로 보다 더 구체적인 예시로 탈 젠더화된 무용수 몸을 통해 고정된 성을 전복시킬 가능성을 재현해 보고자 하였다. 움직임-수행-중의 무용수의 몸은 접속과 연결이라는 다양한 관계성만을 가질 뿐 어느 쪽의 성도 가지지 않는 비체(abject)화된 몸으로 변이가 가능하다. | - |
