dc.description.abstract | Until about the contact times in the middle of the 6thcentury, there were no friendly interchanges between Koguryeo and Shilla for approximately 100 years, and their relationship was mostly hostile. Not only that, but at 551 which is thought to be right before the contact times, Shilla and Baekje joined hands with each other and took away the territory of Koguryeo near the Han river. Right after that, Shilla and Koguryeo allied with each other. But at this time,Inasa and Mado, who were at Alla, took the risk of having trouble with Baekje and stuck to Shilla. Under the pressure of Baekje, they were also trying to have liaison with Koguryeo. Koguryeo, with problems in and out of borders, could not actively react to the attack of Baekje and the Shilla-Gaya forces. At that time, breaking the relationship of Shilla and Baekjae must have been the most effective solution that Koguryeo could come up with. Since Inasa and Mado not only stayed at Alla but also had very accurate information from the constant connection with Shilla. Also, it is thought that the effort of them to get away from the threats of Baekje and change the situation made the liaison of Koguryeo and Shilla possible. | - |
