dc.description.abstract | This paper proposes a 3D representation method that can be used in web platform based hybrid 3DTV. In order to provide declarative content for stereoscopic TV service, we studied content separation and 3D representation techniques, including 3D positioning. As the result of this study, we have designed and implemented a 3D view volume for three dimensional spatial layout and stereoscopic rendering of each element by extending CSS. To verify the suggested method, we generated sample content and it demonstrated that the proposed method enables 2D-based content to be reused in 3D content. Moreover, this approach can be easily adopted for web platform-based content creation. © 2014 IEEE. | - |
