dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to provide the dancers’ basic guideline based on their wellness life. The study conducted with purposive sampling targeting, a total of 101 dancers who study dancing in school or participated in dancing career. Study called TestWell and Wingate were used, which are based on physical fitness with anaerobic power, cardiorespiratory endurance, flexibility, and body composition (BMI) measured by In-body 720. The study is carried out with one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) for analysis and Fisher’s Least Significant Difference (LSD) test was used as post-hoc, with significant level of 0.5. According to the study, significant differences were found in cellular water (both intra and extra), muscle weight, lean body mass, and physical dimensions based on Body Mass Index (BMI). The study indicates that the way dancers perceive wellness makes a great contribution to their physical dimension, it is considered that dancers need wellness-based systematic care (or approach) to avoid dancer’s health deterioration. | - |
