초록
This study examines *Yong 1*, a representative work from Chinese choreographer Tian Tian’s *Yong* series, focusing on how the static forms of Han–Tang dance figurines are transformed into dy namic movement structures in contemporary dance. Using image analysis, literature review, and com parative analysis, the study explores the C-shaped and S-shaped dance postures presented in tradi tional figurines and compares them with the movement language of *Yong 1*. The findings show that the work does not simply reproduce traditional figurine forms, but reconstructs them through bodily curves, shifts of center of gravity, spatial movement, and rhythmic flow. In particular, the C-shaped structure emphasizes curved expansion and stability, while the S-shaped structure highlights fluidity, opposing directional movement, and expressive tension. The study demonstrates how traditional dance figurines can be transformed into contemporary bodily language and suggests new possibilities for the creative reinterpretation of Chinese traditional culture in contemporary dance.
