Abstract
With industrial high growth and the improvement of quality of life, appearance management has been recognized as an essential factor for modern people. In particular, for women's social life and personal relations, appearance has become an important competitive edge, and thereby women spare no effort and investment to improve their appearance. In the case of female college students, the interest in appearance becomes maximized on account of finding a jon and relationships etc. Female college students are in the preparatory stage to make their debut in society and establish life pattern, and therefore systematic management of life pattern such as sleep, eating pattern, and exercise etc. is necessary Thus, this research targeted female college students who are more sensitive to fashion than any age group and have a preference for beautiful and healthy skin. The objective of this study is to supply basic material necessary for the establishment of marketing strategy and cosmetics development by investigating their life pattern which affects skin health, perception on skin care, skin care and use pattern of cosmetics, use pattern of skin care shop, and identifying the tendency of life pattern. For this research, we made a sample survey of 440 female students in junior college who live in capital area, and the collected data were analysed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) WIN 15.0 program. Frequency and percentage were calculated to identify general features of subject as analysis method, and χ2(Chi-square) verification and frequency analysis were conducted to investigate female college student's life pattern, perception of skin care, skin care and use pattern of cosmetics and use pattern of skin care shop and the results are as follows;
