Guilford의 지능구조모형에 의한 유아 학습능력 검사의 개발 및 타당화 연구

Abstract

이 연구는 이론적 측면에서 Guilford의 지능이론을 근거로 지능에 대한 이론적 ‘개념 틀’을 구안하여 이를 토대로 우리나라 유아를 대상으로 표집을 통해 우리나라 아동에 적용 가능한 다면적 지능구조모형을 설정하는 데 일차적 목적이 있다. 더 나아가 구조모형을 경험적 확인과정 후 유아의 학습능력을 평가할 수 있는 측정도구의 개발하고 도구의 타당화 과정을 거처 유아의 학습능력을 평가하기 위한 측정도구를 제작하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 문항의 반응분포와 신뢰도 검증방법인 Cronbach-α계수를 사용하여 문항 선별과정을 거쳤으며 제작된 측정도구에 대해서도 문항 변별도와 곤란도 분석을 통해 각 문항의 타당성을 검증하였다. 신뢰도 검증에서는 Cronbach-α계수와 채점자간 상관을 산출함으로써 도구의 특성에 맞는 검증방법을 이용하였다. 또한 척도를 구성하고 있는 문항들이 의미있는 독립성을 가진 요인인지 확인하기 위하여 요인분석의 방법인 직교회전(Varimax rotation)방법 등을 사용하여 차원의 타당성을 높였다. 특히 본 연구에 사용된 측정도구의 기초가 되는 Meeker의 SOI-LA검사들은 각 하위능력별 진단과 평가가 가능하고 피험자의 각 영역에 대한 강, 약점을 파악하여 학습능력을 증진시키는 Program 활동을 통해 학생의 능력을 개발시킬 수 있다는 점이 특징이다. 다면적 지능검사의 개발을 통해 진학 전 유아의 학습능력을 평가, 개발시킬 수 있다는 점에서 교육현장에서의 활용 방안으로 확대될 것으로 기대된다. 이와 같이 지능의 다면적 접근을 통해 유아용 학습능력 검사를 개발하려는 본 연구의 시도는 지능의 다면적 문제에 대한 관심을 이론적 수준에서 실제적, 경험적 수준으로 향상시킬 것이다. 또한 다면적 지능에 관련된 후속 연구에 기초를 제공할 수 있는 계기를 마련해 줄 것이다.

The purpose of this study were threefold. First, the study attempted to formulated a conceptual framework concerning the multifaceted intelligence make of learning abilities test instrument of young child. Second, the study attempted to make instrument and to select factors measurable multifaceted intelligence based on its conceptual framework and experimental study result. Finally the major purpose of the study was aimed at establishing the construct validity regarding the instrument assessing the multifaceted intelligence. Instrument for assessing young children‘s multifaceted intelligence was designed from Meeker's SOI-LA Test based on Guillford's SOI Model & Tested various analysis & various validation procedure for exploratory procedure and confirmatory test procedures, Especially the confirmatory test procedure included reliability and factor analysis. In order to select items, items analysis was performed. 1) item whose item response analysis were 100% 2) negative items in an item - total correlation were deleted. The main study was carried out to 225 male and female kindergarten children. The results g their study were as follows. 1) The item difficulty index of the test ranged from 49.28 to 88.73 and item discrimination index ranged from .23 to .62. 2) Reliability coefficent the 5 sub tests ranged from .5048 to .7942. 3) In factor analysis, most items were more them .20 of factor loading. It showed that there was empirical evidence for considering the subsale of the instruct as unifactorial. The result indicated that multifaceted intelligence scale designed in this study was an valid tool th confirm multifaceted intelligence for young children.
