Abstract
The binding properties of ethylester derivative of p-tetraphenyl tetrahomodioxacalix[4]arenes (1) towards alkali, alkaline-earth, transition and heavy metal cations using UV-absorption spectrophotometry and H-1-NMR spectroscopy are reported.
