- Abstract
- The middle atmosphere contains ozone and water vapor which may signal the global climate change. To measure the variation of middle atmospheric composition, a ground based monitoring instrument has been developed. The ground-based microwave radiometer has been used to monitor the middle atmospheric constituents.
The atmospheric radiation arriving to the ground passes through the troposphere and includes tropospheric influence. In this paper, the tropospheric water vapor effects on the 110 GHz ozone spectrum have been analyzed by the ground-based radiometer, SORAS (Stratospheric Ozone Radiometer in Seoul). The opacity measured by 22 GHz ground-based radiometer, SWARA (Seoul Water Vapour Radiometer) was compared with the results from SORAS.
