- Abstract
- Complex of industrial structures and largely-changing life patterns have led to multiplied and specialized professions. Such trends witness the rapid increase in cosmetic universities and demands of special cosmetic education. Hence, this research thesis is designed to understand about what motivated students to attend the department of cosmetics what education students really want to be conducted. and how such students are satisfied with the on going cosmetics education. Concerning the analysis on what motivated students to apply for the Department of Cosmetics, most respondents replied that they began to study about the cosmetics fields in high school or college days. Regarding the satisfaction of cosmetics education received by students at the Department of Cosmetics, most two-year university students replied that they were ‘not so dissatisfied with the cosmetics education’, and most four-year university students replied that they were ‘satisfied with it’. For the analysis on cosmetics education, and career choice, it was found that those who wanted to get their jobs related to cosmetics have accounted for the highest rate. The higher positive way of thinking about the upcoming cosmetics industry among students proves that the cosmetics profession has been perceived to have the positive effects on permanent employment. In conclusion, students under cosmetics education training want to steadily choose their career related to cosmetics. In this regard, it is reaffirmed that university education is important to guarantee such kinds of professions. Thus, it is expected that the cosmetics education and industry become growing greater and greater every day, in harmony with technological knowledge and practical skills appropriate for students, in university where brilliant manpower is developed and fostered.
