- Abstract
- 연구 목적: 이 연구는 시설거주 시각장애 노인에게 집단미술치료를 실시하여 그들의 자기표현과 의사소통 변화를 보기 위한 것이다. 연구 방법: 50∼70대 시각장애 노인 남‧여 9명에게 집단미술치료를 15회 실시하여 그 변화를 차이 검증하고 개인별 변화를 질적 분석하였다. 연구 결과: 시설거주 시각장애 노인은 집단미술치료를 통해 자기표현에 유의미한 변화를 가져왔으며, 의사소통에도 긍정적인 변화를 가져왔다. 시설거주 시각장애 노인은 자유롭게 예술 매체를 탐구하고 자신의 생각과 감정, 욕구를 표현하는 시간을 가졌고 시각을 대신하는 치료사의 언어적 반영과 돌봄으로 안정감과 자신감을 얻어 긍정적인 상호작용을 하게 되었다. 결론: 연구 결과를 바탕으로 시각장애인을 위한 집단미술치료 방법론과 선행연구와의 비교, 연구의 제한점 및 향후 연구의 방향성을 제안하였다.
